Shelly describes what it is like to have to really watch what she eats when going to restaurants.
Transcript
Like I couldn’t have more that 5% sodium in anything I ate. I mean I did sometimes but not all the time. So it makes it really hard when you go to restaurant with your friends and stuff. Because nowadays if restaurants … if it’s a chain it has to show all the nutritional facts and calories on their menus. The only thing it doesn’t show is sodium. And sodium is a lot worse for you than calories in some cases. So when I go to a restaurant, I have to – like when I go out with friends for birthdays or whatever – they get to have whatever they want and I have to really watch what I eat because if I didn’t, my legs would swell up.
